Charaktery 3.0

“Charaktery” is recognized as the oldest Polish monthly magazine dedicated to popular science in the field of psychology. Each issue is read by an average of over 300,000 individuals, according to data from PBC, and the magazine’s Facebook fanpage is among the largest among Polish periodicals, with over 280,000 followers.

Since its inception, the primary goal and mission of “Charaktery” have been to promote psychological knowledge and to introduce Polish readers to global discoveries and trends in psychology. The publication has been a pioneer in this domain. Notable contributors include internationally renowned figures such as Robert Cialdini and Philip Zimbardo, as well as distinguished Polish scientists and publicists like Professor Janusz Czapiński, Professor Dariusz Doliński, Professor Wiesław Łukaszewski, Professor Piotr Sztompka, Professor Krzysztof Szymborski, Olga Tokarczuk, and Tadeusz Konwicki.

The magazine maintains ongoing collaborations with several Polish universities, including Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Higher School of Psychological Sciences in Warsaw, Warsaw University, and Catholic University of Lublin. By publishing works authored by academics from these institutions, “Charaktery” actively promotes achievements within Polish science.

In 2008, “Charaktery” received the prestigious “Magazine of the Year” award from the industry publication “Media&Marketing Polska.” Its visual design has been recognized multiple times through awards at the Grand Front competition, notably for special issues such as the “Charaktery” special edition and the “Styli i Charakterów” issue titled “Słowa.”

• Cancellation or disabling automatic renewal must be completed at least 24 hours before the current subscription period expires.
• Renewal charges will be applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and will match current pricing.
• Subscriptions cannot be canceled once payment has been processed for that period.
